Elmshade Glass Sculpture - Medium Crashing Wave

This beautiful sculpture of an ocean wave is made with individually cut & chipped glass in a variety of blues, greens, and clear, placed to resemble a wave, then soft contour fused to retain texture. Once fused, it is formed over a semi-circle form to look like a crashing wave.  These are often assumed to be blown glass, but fusing allows more retention of texture and shape.  This fusing method creates the gorgeous sculpture of a crashing ocean wave.  Large is approximately 4" tall in the center, 12-13" in length before slumped into shape.  Each are very similar, but always one-of-a-kind.  VERY popular among beach & water lovers!
